Featured Product

Smoked BBQ Rub

Ingredients

*3 tablespoons Fry Krisp Smoked BBQ Rub, divided

*2 lbs beef sirloin or tenderloin, cut into 1½-inch cubes

*2 large bell peppers (red and yellow), cut into 1-inch pieces

*1 large red onion, cut into 1-inch pieces

*1 pint cherry tomatoes 8-10 wooden or metal skewers

Marinade:

*3 tablespoons olive oil

*2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce

*1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar

*1 teaspoon garlic powder

Instructions

Prepare the Marinade: In a large bowl, whisk together olive oil, Worcestershire sauce, apple cider vinegar, garlic powder, and 2 tablespoons of Fry Krisp Smoked BBQ Rub until well combined.

Marinate the Beef: Add beef cubes to the marinade, tossing to coat evenly. Cover and refrigerate for at least 15 minutes (or up to 2 hours for deeper flavor).

Prep the Grill: Preheat grill to medium-high heat (about 400-450°F). If using wooden skewers, soak them in water for 15 minutes to prevent burning.

Assemble the Kabobs: Thread marinated beef alternately with bell peppers, onion, and cherry tomatoes onto skewers, leaving small spaces between pieces for even cooking.

Season and Grill: Sprinkle remaining 1 tablespoon of Smoked BBQ Rub evenly over all kabobs. Place on preheated grill and cook for 12-15 minutes, turning every 3-4 minutes to ensure even browning and caramelization.

Check for Doneness: Beef should reach an internal temperature of 135°F for medium-rare or 145°F for medium. The BBQ rub should form a beautiful caramelized crust. Rest and Serve: Remove from grill and let rest for 3-5 minutes before serving.

Chef's Tips

Cut Consistently: Keep beef and vegetable pieces uniform in size for even cooking

Don't Overcrowd: Leave space between ingredients on skewers for proper heat circulation

Oil the Grates: Clean, well-oiled grill grates prevent sticking and ensure beautiful grill marks

Temperature Control: If flare-ups occur, move kabobs to a cooler part of the grill temporarily
